| AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 I'm trying to backup one of my movies using these 2 programs.. is it possible to just do the "Copy BD" option since AnyDVD HD has removed the AACS folder? Will this method produce a disc that will play in a stand-alone (specifically PS3). OR Should I rip the disk first using AnyDVD HD and then use the other option in Nero to build a new compilation with the UDF 2.50 option and drag the BDMV and Certificates folders over and burn that way? I'm just trying to make a good disc that will play in my PS3 and trying to avoid making any coasters since these discs are so expensive. |

| Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 I have backed up Blu-ray discs using the two methods you mentioned, and the disc played without issues in the PS3. The only issue obviously is with BD+ discs. ffice ffice" />

| Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 OK I need some help.. I ripped the movie using AnyDVD HD and I tried to burn it to a BD-R in Nero. It started then after a few seconds it says it can't start disc-at-once and spits the disc out. | Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 I backup with anydvdHD and then burn with Imgburn. I am using a beta of ImgBurn for testing. Next backup I will give Nero a go and post results here. |

| Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 How big is the files you're trying to burn (exact bytes)? I think it won't fit the BD-R.

| Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 I think you're right actually. I looked at the original disc and it's a dual-layer. I'm gonna try and use that TsRemux program and see if I can reduce the size some. I've been reading up on it and I can already tell it's going to be overwhelming for me. Any pointers on how to use the program? I'm guessing the only audio I would wanna keep is English PCM (not sure if that's the right way of saying it.. I'm not all that advanced when it comes to this stuff). I just know that PCM is what my TV displays when I do "Info". It's a 65" 1080p Toshiba (65HM167). I'd also like to keep my English subtitles if that's one of the options that TsRemux would control. You can skip the splitting process (step #2) if you want to fit all into BD media. Quote:
Unfortunately TsRemux does not support substitle yet (working progress), same as TsMuxer, but eventually they will so hang on to the original disc.

Also, in TsRemux would I need to perform that procedure only on the main movie (ie the largest file in the stream directory) or do I need to go through each of those individual files in the "Stream" folder? Last edited by bigdog1002; 02-02-2008 at 00:06. Reason: Added info | |

| Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 Main movie only. Thus you won't get any original menus.

| Re: AnyDVD HD and Nero 8 Great success! Used TsRemux and got the file size down to around 13 GB. Brand new working backup of Saw 4 and it plays on my PS3 flawlessly! Thanks very much for your help (as well as everyone else who contributed to this thread). |
