Alan can you elaborate what is different in this seemingly very minor update..?

Yes, it is an update fopr the Bluray version of Rambo coming out next week , but there were some complication and they are working to complete this final version soon. ( At least I hope). I believe there was a little glitch with Java Discs, trailers etc. Its been fixed in this latest beta.

What I would really like (and I own Any DVD HD) is for it to somehow fake out HDCP so that I can use playback software without having to have an HDCP monitor. I have been able to rip some movies and play them in VLC, but I'd rather use playback software directly.

Yes, I'm aware it says that. But it doesn't seem to actually do it. It does let you rip tracks so you can play them (at full res!) through VLC though.

A simple check with Cyberlink's BD advisor shows that my machine is still detected as not having HDCP.

Beyond that, I guess what I'd like is for AnyDVD HD to work on 64-bit Vista. Because I will be migrating to that soon (I must have 64-bit support, and 64-bit XP isn't available any more), and it'd stink to no longer be able to use AnyDVD HD.
