imTOO DVD ripper only works for 60 seconds

I have bought and registered my copy of the DVD Ripper, but it only records 60 seconds of a DVD it's converting, then it stops. I pasted in the license number, and the About box now says it's registered to me. I stopped and started the program. I have also tried it on two different computers (XP and Vista) with the same behavior.

I read somewhere this is the behavior of the eval version. What am I doing wrong that it doesn't appear to act like a registered program?

Maybe you could back up your liscense key and uninstall and reinstall, sometimes when going from trial to full the download might get corrupted. Its worth a try, just make sure you have your registration information handy.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it but the same thing happens. This is frustrating, another example of how software protection hurts the honest customers. I can't use the product all weekend, if I hadn't paid for it I would go to another product.

Unless someone has an idea, I have an email into the sales alias.

Did this same thing happen when you were evaluating the software? Sometimes there is a rep from the company on this site, no always, but sometimes, in your e-mail tell them to respond here, I would love to hear their explanation. Welcome to the forum awalt.

Re: imTOO DVD ripper only works for 60 seconds

I also have this problem but only with some DVDs(Out of the Blue). I have only just registered and started using the software so dont know whether this is a big issue with other DVDs. Did anyone get a conclusion to this problem?

Re: imTOO DVD ripper only works for 60 seconds

I have done this same thing and even went as far as manually clearing the registry after an uninstall. The software will only genereate or convert approximately 60 seconds and then say it is complete.

Other than that it does seem to be a nice and easy to use software. I have multiple recordings that I have to convert to mpg in order to edit them (for a college class). This is a software that I paid for and now it will not function correctly as advertised.

I am hoping that someone will be able to help me figure out what I am missing so that I can successfully convert the entire clip.
