DVD Audio Ripper is a DVD movie soundtrack ripper which can rip DVD audio to MP3, WAV, AAC, AC3, OGG, RA, WMA and AU formats. You can use DVD Audio Ripper to extract DVD audio and rip DVD movie soundtrack to mp3 and convert DVD to wav with complete sound effects.

1. Run DVD Audio Ripper and load your DVD to the program. Insert your DVD into the DVD-ROM first, then directly press "DVD" button on the main interface or choose "Add DVD Folder..." in the "File" menu to load DVD to the program.



Then, in the following dialog-box, please select the DVD drive of your PC and click "OK" to get your DVD loaded.



2. Or you can load your DVD by "Add IFO Files" in the "File" menu. IFO file is the information file of the DVD. You need browse your DVD disc to see the files. They are in the "Video_TS" folder of the DVD. But generally we do not recommend this way because some DVDs would not be able to be loaded properly by reading IFO files.



3. After your DVD is loaded into the program, you will read the titles/chapters of your DVD in the central list of the program. There are always certain titles on a standard DVD, while each title consists of certain chapters. You can choose to hide or show the chapters by pressing this button "Hide/Show Chapters"



4. Generally, the main episodes of the movie would be made in one title. The Title_01 highlighted in the below picture is the whole movie, if you just want to rip it entirely, please select it to highlight this title in the program and set the output options.



Or if you only want to get certain chapters ripped, you need to check them in the program first, choose "Ripper All selected" in the file menu or directly press the red button, after that the program will rip the chapters checked one after another.



If you want to convert certain episode of the DVD, you can enter the exact start point in Start Time box and specify the duration of the clip. Before adjust the settings, you need to select the chapters you want to rip and choose "rip selected" in the file menu. The Start time is 00:00:00 and the Duration is Full by default so that the chosen chapter will be ripped from the very start to the end.



5. On the top of the list, there are settings for "Audio", "Subtitles", "Angle" and so on, all the audio tracks and subtitles that your DVD has will be shown in the corresponding box. Please select what you want for the final output files from the lists. You do not always need change "Angle" options. Angle 1 will work well for most DVDs.



6. And then, please select the output formats and other necessary setups at the bottom of the list.
You can specify the format of the output files by select from Profile. If you want to keep what you ripped as one single file, the default setting for "Split" will be OK. Or you can select other "Split" options.

The default option for "Zoom" is "Letterbox", which will give black borders to the top and bottom of the final output files to fit aspect. You can select other items to meet your special need in the list.

In the "Destination" folder, you should tell the program where, or which directory on your hard drive, will be the output path for the conversion. You can "Browse" the directory or enter it directly.




7. On the right panel of the main interface, there are some advanced setting options, such as "Video/Audio Codec", "Video Size" and "Video/Audio Bit Rate". Generally, the default values we offered have been OK, so I recommend you not to adjust the settings.



8. After you set everything OK, please start ripping by clicking "Rip All Checked" in the "File" menu. It will get what you checked in the program ripped only. If you just simply click the red button on the interface, all the checked items, chapters or titles in the list, will be ripped. If you choose "Ripper Selected", the program will get the highlighted selected chapter to be ripped.

9. Pause Ripping and Stop Ripping. In the middle of conversion, you can pause or stop the process by directly pressing "Pause Ripping" or "Stop Ripping" button in the main interface or selecting the corresponding options in "File" menu.



10. After the conversion is done, you can reach the destination folder and find output files by clicking the "Open" button on the main interface directly. What to do next? Just enjoy the movie on your PC by proper media players.
