I'm shopping for PC parts to build a new Linux Box, and I need help choosing a DVD burner.

are you thinking for compatibly? because i have used alot of dvd burners with linux and have never had a problem yet.

but any of those would be a good choice.

Have a LG GSA-H42N and no problems here, maybe you'll need enable DMA in your distro, but it's not hard... Recorder works great for me with lastest versions of Mandriva and Suse.
