i find k3b to be very user friendly and suites all my burning needs

Ditto. I'm testing a trial version of Nero Linux 3 and everything works fine but I prefer K3b because is integrated with my KDE desktop and, the best, IT'S FREE!

i use xfce but still use k3b, but might give nero 3 a try. i wasn't very impressed with earlier versions.

I use kb3 and nero linux 3. I find both of them to be superb. kb3 has an edge since it's more polished looking and free.

k3b. I used Nero exclusively (and loved it) when I used windows. k3b is equal or better that nero. I don't miss nero at all.

HI, I am having some dificulty with K3b. I am running Suse 9.1 and have an Optiaric DVD RW AD-517A. Do I need some kind of firmware ? Are there any other, better (above post in mind), methods of burning. I hope that I havn't cros posted here and look fowards to any replies.

Suse 9.1 is kinda old, maybe that is the problem.
