| Testing HDD and Speed Q Hey guys, I have an old 40gb SeaGate HDD that used to be my primary drive before I got my 200gb. I want to use the 40gb as pure stoage e.g compressed DVD's, game imgs etc. Got a couple of Q's: 1. Its been sitting in my room for a good while so I wud think it had some knocks, I want reliable way of testing it so make sure it wont fail while I have some important data on it. 2. Its only 5400 RPM, would this affect ripping/encoding/buring to it? \\\\VH////
