| Main HDD on slave - Slower! Hi, I have put my main HDD that I boot off as slave to IDE0. My removeable HDD that I use to swap stuff is master IDE1. I find that the computer is slower to boot, etc. Am I imagining this? The reason why it is this way is because the ATA 100 cable would not reach to make my main HDD master and the removeable HDD slave. Any suggestions? I never use the removable HDD unless I got some stuff I wanna swap with mates. Thanks |
