| Knoppix: USB 2.0 and external HDD? Ok a client of mine wants to buy an iomega 120 gb external hard drive, he's running Knoppix off of CD and we need to know if it supports USB 2.0 and if there are drivers available or nessecary for the device.

| Re: Knoppix: USB 2.0 and external HDD? Well the Linux kernel does support USB2.0 (of course), but (most probably) not all USB 2.0 chips are supported (most will be though, perhaps some very new or very unique ones are unsupported). Do you know what USB controller is in his system?

| Re: Knoppix: USB 2.0 and external HDD? No clue, its for a service call. He seems to belive that the chipset will be supported but he wants to know if he need linux drivers or a special fix for his external hard drive
