| Re: New Windows/Linux F@H SMP clients available Any reason my machine is only running at 50% on both processors with new client 6 beta 1? I looked through the FAH folder and found nothing to change. Steps are taking twice as long as before. |

I'm not pleased to say that the 100% usage is only on a single core ..... the other three cores are practically 0% utilisation. WTF? Extend the deadlines for Beta 5? That worked!

| Re: New Windows/Linux F@H SMP clients available I stopped using Ubuntu client because it's eating sources, unlike windows smp clients that will halt/lower the cpu usage if we use the PC for heavy programs (ie games or encoding). Maybe Dee can help, or alternatively how about trying Windows SMP Clients. The guides is in the sticky thread.

RTFM, right? ![]() The new (X86_64) Linux Client is a unified client (smp& single thread in one proggie)-> you have to fire it up with "./fah6 -smp" otherwise it runs in single core mode ![]() I just can't wait for the 2week mark to be passed so I can start overclocking ![]() Otherwise the heatsink compound hasn't set in right ![]()
