Re: New Windows/Linux F@H SMP clients available

Try creating a new FAH directory in your home directory, download it & then running from there.

Don't use any SU/SUX/SUDO commands. they aren't needed.

Don't copy the existing files across either ... there might be some fubar rights/acl's attached to the existing files

Last time all i had to do was replace the FAH5 with new file. Then this time stupid me tried replacing the same files but i was to dumb to notice i had a new version 6 b1.

Anyway i have it running now 100% both cores. I'll check it and see what my step times are.

Re: New Windows/Linux F@H SMP clients available

Anyone been having any problems with the SMP Client??

I have twice now left it running while popping out or going to work and twice it has started off fine but then hung after 3 or 4% has been completed.

Re: New Windows/Linux F@H SMP clients available

When it hung, check the CPU usage in task manager, was it 100%?

I had that kind of problem a few times when it hung at xx% but it was only after the CPU resources overtaken for a long time (multiple dvdshrink etc). In my case, after shrink done, SMP client never take back the "cpu usage" and I had to close the client and re-run. It did start from the xx% and not from 0%, fortunately.
