Starting at Greenwich Mean Time (universal time clock) we need as many ppl as possible to Fold on their PC, MAC, PS3 etc. If you fold 24/7, great! Just leave it running.

If your a once off folder just for the event or only fold so often, then please just finish the work unit that has started and your contribution will be well appreciated! We are though encouraging folders to stay on as regulars - cheers guys.

Why July 1st? well, we need to gather heaps of ppl to donate to this and we need time to do this, to organize it more and to expose it on game websites, pc-related websites, mac and linux-related websites etc. I myself am going to post it into as many Aussie forums i can find.

I am GMT+10 so i will probs start before most, but it doesn't really matter, just as long as we're all doing a Work Unit on July 1st (PLEASE FINISH the work unit), then hopefully we can achieve the PetaFLOP target!

also i have heard that many teams or donators like to 'save up' their work units in order to get a sudden jump in stats - this is NOT what this Foldathon willl be about, all that does is stress out the servers at Stanford and show 'fake' computing power statistics.
