Thanks for the welcome, I have been lurking for a long time and never needed to create an ID and login. With that handy search feature I have gotten the answer to every problem so far!

So it looks like most of these WUs run about two days, except the one I'm playing with on the old WS530 dual Xeon system I pulled out of the closet, it looks to be about 5 days.

Looks like around 7 minutes with CPU @3.1Ghz. BTW, Thanks for the help it was my Windows password or lack there of.

I can't help much with win SMP since I was never able to get it running on my rig but I can say that I've never had a problem burning dvds with the standard client running, except that CDspeed always shows 100% cpu usage as zevia already mentioned
