Re: Folding@Home

Gee guys & gals!
Do you have to start it manually every time? There is a little option (for windows CLI client) to just add it into the services. Takes about 5 seconds to go thru config

Set & forget
You can use fahserve to track your many, many clients across the network

Lololololol!

Admitting that you've illegally downloaded movies/songs and need help to process/burn is comparable to robbing a bank, and walking into the bank the next day holding the bags of money to deposit them into your account.

Don't be surprised if people laugh at you when you make the headlines.

just wanted to add that this only works on the standard single core client, the win SMP client won't work properly when it is configured as a service

to have the smp client start with windows, just paste the fah shortcut into the startup folder in the start menu (this is what I do with the standard client too since I prefer to have the dos window)

BTW, congrats rolling on making it onto the list

Go for it
Although I'm sure the P3's debuted at 450Mhz
And were the first step for big brother to watch your every (online) move with their little CPU tracking ID.
