| Re: CD Freaks World Community Grid Team Yep, that runtime is normal for a FAAH500X work unit. The last one I completed on a Pentium D 2.8Ghz took just under 50 hours and I got 581 points for it! https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.or...d?thread=21664

| Re: CD Freaks World Community Grid Team The challenge is over and we put up some nice numbers but there were some teams with crazy more firepower than us. Here is the winning team: >>> We are very pleased to announce the team that won THE 200 MILLIONTH RESULT RACE challenge! Team Name: L'Alliance Francophone Team Captain Name: [AF>France>Est>Lorraine>Vosges>Linux] xter757288 / Mickael The L'Alliance Francophone team has contributed over 746 years of run time to help humanitarian research! We thank the L'Alliance Francophone team and all of our members for the success of World Community Grid! Please note: Although the UserFriendly.Org team returned the most results during the challenge, the team captain is one of our Community Advisors and so ineligible for the certificate and t-shirt >>> Jwill - How long did that WU take to complete in the end?

| Re: CD Freaks World Community Grid Team I'm also folding again, the old nvidia drivers were giving me some errors while folding. The new gpu client and the 180.70 drivers are doing really well. they've managed to put all of the load on the gpu and almost nothing on the cpu! and no errors, so my 8800gt is kicking some butt. My friends PS3 is folding on our team, he's "SportingNut2" and making his way to the top of our chart. The stupid PS3 kicks out of folding mode once and a while so I have to remind him to turn it back on again every once and a while. |
