100% Cpu

100% CPU for a few months now, on all overclocked C2D and C2Q with SMP client, almost 24/7.

How's yours?

Re: 100% Cpu

What are you asking? I'm a bit confused.

Anyway...100% CPU on Pentium D and C2D (stock speeds), almost 24/7, Windows SMP client, though if I can I do try to shut one or the other down every other night.

"How's yours?" - they seem to be doing alright, nothing's gone BANG yet

My electricity usage has always been good, and it doesn't seem to have changed much which is nice.

Re: 100% Cpu

The Quad is at 3Ghz and running Windows SMP client probably about 18 hours per day.
Got this to fit tomorrow though. So i hope to clock a bit more.

PC2 C2D runs ubuntu and Linux SMP. maybe on 48 hours per week.

Re: 100% Cpu

My work PC and two (low power) servers.
Apart from that everything else might be on for maybe 8hr's a day. My home PC, the only SMP client hasn't been running it for awhile. I've overclocked it from 2->2.4Ghz and the SMP client occasionally refuses to run - but other times will. I've kinda given up on it since it fails 50% of the time after booting.

Re: 100% Cpu

I can confirm now if SMP client crashes then it's the problem with overclock.
And yeah I've always backup the SMP client before turn of the PC so next time it boots and fall back to 0% I will overwrite with the backup and run again. Usually works.
