Unfortunately, there's no easy way around this without some sort of private forum, and even then how do you know who should get in. It's just as easy to have someone pretend to be friendly to the cause who actually works for one of these services.

I suppose letting the cat out of the bag is unavoidable, but we shouldn't taunt the cat either.

BTW, xfuzion asked me about track volume varying. A quick example is the recently posted Verve Mixed album touted on the home page of Napster et al. If you can view the waveforms, you'll see volume all over the place. The normalization method they are using isn't irritating when you stream or play the original .wma file. But convert it to something else, especially using a tool that attempts to playback the file and then record it and/or re-normalize it, and you'll discover distortion on several tracks because of oversaturated signal levels. It becomes an effort to have to analyze and adjust playback volume for different tracks to have a satisfactory result.

We need to think of a way to talk in code. seriously. like, we could use the code and the riaa would think we were just rambling for no reason. Of course, we will have to find a way to weed out the imposters who want copies of the code.

I would mention, in several countries, it's forbidden to talk into coded text. It's possible a moderator removes such text, because it does not comply with the board regulations.

Since the '90, You can talk with public/private key encryption, using PGP. Those who may read Your text, do have Your public key. However, how shall You define a valid reader ? Secondly, it's only practical with mail (lists), because it makes no sense to put such messages on a public board.

Additionally, a board can have a private section, but privacy depends on the board owner.

And finally, You can use IRC, with a key to enter the channel.

But if this will help anything, i have doubts.

Re: NEW! DRM REMOVAL!! April 6th 2005

I tried with my napster files and it didn't work. But i did find a free step by step guide at freemymp3.com and it worked. They claim it works will all subscription services but i just know it works with napster. I had followed a thread about that site but didn't see any paypal button. It seems legit. They also have some links to some pretty cool stuff as well. Hope this helps you all out.

I found a free drm removal system at freemymp3.com. They have a free step by step guide to drm removal. It works great with napster. that's the only files i use with it. they do claim it will work with all music services.

Hmm, maybe this is why my Nero version stops burning after a few songs?
