Re: Rumour about LightScribe Discs

I have heard the same thing, but I'm not sure if this is true.

Re: Rumour about LightScribe Discs

From www.lightscribe.com (FAQ section):
Quote:
Q: Does ultra-violet light fade a LightScribe label? How much does the image fade, and over what period of time?
A: Sustained exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided, both to prevent damage to the data side of the disc and possible fading of the label image. The image will fade under direct sunlight, but the rate will depend on the light's intensity and exposure time.

Re: Rumour about LightScribe Discs

This should probably go in the blank media section. You'll get better discussions about it there when non LG writer owners are included

Re: Rumour about LightScribe Discs

It is perfectly normal, compared to LF Lightscribe has only a extra coat on top of the media, LF has a extra stuff (blue) under the top layer.....
