| Lightscribe Media Not Being Recognised - Please Help! Hi Guys, newbie to the forum  I've just started using Lightscribe discs with my HP 840b Burner but after burning one lightscribe label successfully, I am now receiving the following message on all discs using Nero Cover Designer: "LightScribe disc information encoded in the middle of the disc could not be read. Please ensure that the disc is a LightScribe disc..." The disc is orientated correctly and I get the same message regardless of whether any data has been burned on the disc or not. I am using HP Colour Lightscribe CD-R Media. I have 10 packs of 10 discs (i.e. 100 altogether) and only one disc has worked so far! I have tried discs from all different batches and am getting the same error on all of them. I am using Nero version 6.6.1.4 and Lightscribe API version 1.6.45.1. I also have the latest drivers/firmware for my HP 840b Drive. I ran the Lightscribe Diagnostic tool and it reported everything as being fine. Can anyone help me please? I surely can't have 99 faulty discs...can I?  |
