Labels on burned CD/DVDS

Hi Everyone,

A friend recently told me about ink (used for marking DVDs), seeping Thur the non-record able side of a burned DVD which corrupted the video files on the burned disk. Has anyone ever had this problem?
I normally use Maxell blank CD/DVD for burning; and sometimes I will use a printed cover which glues to the disk, or I will use a "sharpie" permanent marker to write on the disk. And so far I haven't had any issues with glue/ink seeping Thur and corrupting the disks video files.
I would like to inquire what others use to mark their disks, and if any problems with corrupted audio/video files has been a issue.
Thanks.

Possible with CDRs, impossible with DVDs.
