CD & DVD Printing and Labeling Discuss, Epson R320 Printer at International Chat: Hardware related forum; I bought one of these yesterday and i must say it's pretty nice. I've printed a few DVD's and pics and they came out really nice. Easy setup (but kinda need to be advanced user) for printing CD/DVD's but all in all a nice printer.

Anyone else have one of these?

Re: Epson R320 Printer

I've got the R300, which is extremely similar, and I don't agree with the advanced user need. It is pretty straightforward to me. But I have had epson printers for the past 10 years.

Re: Epson R320 Printer

I have the R200 which is just the same printer without the doo-hickies, never had a complaint about it. Though Ihaven't been using them nearly as long as harley, only since the C20 came out, I recommend Epsons to my friends as they are good printers. I also never had a problem getting a replacement on then rare occassion one has gone faulty.

I also agree wiht harley you don't need to be advance to use them.

What i dont like is when you download covers they never fit you always have to pull the sides out to make them fit.....

Never had a problem with compats and I have used them since the ones that came with the printer run out in both c64 and R200, so that is a long time. It is illegal for Epson to try the "It voids the warranty" excuse, atleast it is in the UK anyway.

Where do you get the high risk of clogged nozzles from? I have done less head cleaning using compats thatn I had to do with original Epsons.

I had it myself with an old Stylus Color I used for many years and saw this problem on other older Epson printers. Can't really tell about the later generations.

I liked my Epson - quality was good but consumables ridiculous expensive - even compatible ink. The older Epsons had reasonable large ink cartridges, which degraded by now to a few ml of ink.

I never got an Epson again - they are the most expensive printers on the market, in terms of original consumables, money can buy.
