Software Problem: Epson R300 on Vista can't print CD - Club CDFreaks

Epson stylus photo R300 printer

Using the vista built-in epson driver and Epson Print CD, I was unable to print a test strip (a 2mm thick line from top to bottom) on my DVD. Turns out the strip is printed on the edge of the DVD tray.

The test print from vista prints correctly on a piece of paper though.

Using the same printer and a different computer running winXP, I was able to print the test strip on the DVD.

Has anyone else experience this? I'm just wondering if there is something I can do to make this printer work in vista.

Have you tried using an official Epson driver? It is available for download and supports all Windoz versions.
