Are the Epson compatible inks sold at Rima and Supermediastore good for printables?

I've got an Epson R220 (still new in the factory sealed box, bought a year ago for $40 on clearence from Walmart) and have read the factory supplied ink tanks are only about 40%-60% full compared to the OEM or compatible brand replacements. Might need replacement tanks very soon.

Rima has a compatible set for only $15, while Supermediastore has a pair of compatible sets selling for $40 shipped; the images for this product from both vendors looks the same, I assume it IS the same product. I'm guessing the price is so low because the printer series served by these tanks are dwindling in numbers now they have been out of production and in use for a few years. Anyone had good luck with these compatibles, specifically for having a similar or better drying time and smudge resistance compared to the genuine Epson product?

I'll be labeling TY and/or Verb silver and possibly white inkjet printable -R DVD discs with black text and colored logos most of the time -- not full face images w/text as many people do. At the current price and availability of this compatible ink I'm tempted to buy it now (while price/supplies last) along with the media -- before I've even unpacked the printer... At these prices a CIS system doesn't seem much more economical, especially when most of them use the crappy Chinese ink and you really don't know which CIS vendor is selling the "good stuff".

I think Rima is pretty reliable. I would use caution with SuperMediaStore. But I only buy inks from dedicated ink sellers. Alotofthings.com has what you need. I recommend the G&G carts.

Haven't bought any yet, but if I end up getting non-OEM cartridges in the near future I'll probably purchase them at Rima.com.
