Dvd Printer I have seen some printers on the internet that are able to print onto printable dvds. I looked at label-flash but the disk are hugely expensive. I was just hoping that someone could recomend me to a printer to get, that prints with good quality but isnt too expensive. Thanks in advance alanmonger

Re: Dvd Printer I purchased the epson R220 a month ago when best buy had it for 49 dollars which was the lowest price I had seen and it works great. I use it only for dvds printing and when I get close to running out of ink I will buy the refills since epson ink cost to much.

Re: Dvd Printer If you live outside the US, I would see if you can still find a canon ip3000 or ip4000. They are very impresive printers and are the last of the non chipped printers. If you are in the US your only choice is epson. I just got an epson r300 (refurbished) for 50$ from fry's. The software kind of sucks but the printer does a nice job. The whole chipped cartrige thing is really agervating though.

Re: Dvd Printer Be aware that the ip4200, while a very good printer (not trying to talk you out of it), has chipped ink cartriges, making refilling difficult and making compatible cartriges much more expensive (I'm not even sure compatible aftermarket cartriges are even avalable yet). That is the big advantage of the ip4000, no chip, so easy refilling and or plenty of cheap but good quality aftermarket cartritges avalable. Either will do a great job printing though. Just be aware that US model canons do not print on cd if you are in the US. In the US, epson is the only choice.
