Re: CISS for Epson Printers

I put one I picked up off ebay from china about two years ago for my Epson R200 and it has work great since then, it cost me about $60 and the tanks came full of ink also. Tanks I think about 100ml each, I have been using the ink from IMS-Ink and have had no clogging with it at all. I would not buy another inkjet printer if I couldn't get a CISS system for it. You should have no problem with it.

I have an R380 and I've tried 2 different CISS Units and neither one worked. I get cartridge(s) not recognized errors. The first one it was always the same cartridges, the latest one, the errors are random.

Re: CISS for Epson Printers

I have now had my Matrix Ink CISS for the Epson R320 about a week since I first posted this.
I have to say it is awesome.
I have printed something like 400ea 4"x6" borderless photos, two dozen 8.5" x 11" photos and at least 100 DVDs and CDs.
Best aftermarket product I have ever bought for anything.

I especially like how the Yellow tank and the Black tank are larger than the other tanks as these are the two that are used the most.

Re: CISS for Epson Printers

I bought mine at ebay for R300. I'm pretty happy about it, good inks, works well.
BTW sometime you need to run special utility to reset counters to infinity. Ur CIS seller should provide one for you.

Re: CISS for Epson Printers

Hi,
I have used CISS for Epson for R320 for 4 years, have had excellent experience with it. I would recommend that you use inkrepublic.com to buy your ciss system. They are a little pricier than some suppliers but I just bought 1 of their ciss systems for my new Epson R380, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I lost $85 to a place called inkjetsoutlet.com in NY. their product was faulty, and after promising me a refund, they did not refund my money.
Back to the R320 -- you'll have to take off the bracket that fits on top of the ink cartridge bay (just 2 screws and a spring) but it's no big deal. I would still be using mine, but the waste ink pads in the bottom of the printer filled up, and required replacing. By the time I figured out how to do that, the ink nozzles had dried up and the printer couldn't be fixed. Good luck, you'l be very happy with a ciss system, and save a lot of $$ too!
