Solid State Drive & Flash Memory Discuss, Problems with partitioning Samsung 4Gb Mighty Driver gizmo at International Chat: Hardware related forum; I recently purchased a Samsung 4Gb Mighty Driver gizmo.It came with its own Password and Configuration software. I created a password and configured it into 2 equal partitions 1.8Gb (I thought!). Now I cant access more than 1.8Gb - the other one wasnt generated- nor do I now

Problems with partitioning Samsung 4Gb Mighty Driver gizmo

I recently purchased a Samsung 4Gb Mighty Driver gizmo.It came with its own Password and Configuration software. I created a password and configured it into 2 equal partitions 1.8Gb (I thought!). Now I cant access more than 1.8Gb - the other one wasnt generated- nor do I now have access to the configurator. Any ideas will be gratefully received.

When you created a passworded partition on a removable disc with special software, you need to access it through the special software.

Load up the software which came with your drive & use your password to access the second partition.

Make sure you have a copy of the software on the accessible partition so that you can install the proggy on every PC you use it with, otherwise you can't access the locked partition on any PC except your own.

I forot psswrd to my Samsung Mighy 4GB
I use its s/w which is supposed to format it after 6 tries but it fails to format and shows some error formatting. Please someone help. I don’t care about my info on the USB disk I just want it working again. Thanks.
