Re: Memory Stick

chances are high this will not mess up the mp3 player nor the memory stick, I say just try it and see what happens, provided it fits correctly of course

thanks, the cards do look the same, but only going on pictures from websites, but i'm not too sure about the difference between the standard and the pro versions, so as you say i might have to gamble and buy one to try it.

Thanks again

Re: Memory Stick

You can also use Sony 2GB High Speed Memory Stick Pro Duo . It is perfect for storing photographs, video, and digital music files. Its high speed feature allows it to read and write data at speeds up to 80 megabits per second on enabled devices.

Re: Memory Stick

You will find a compatibility list at http://www.memorystick.com/en/clink/index.html Check if your player is mentioned there. My understanding is that MS Pro media will work with MS Pro compatible devices only. MS (with MG) will work with regular and MS Pro devices. So, check if your device is MS Pro ready.

thanks for the link. i don't see my mp3 player there & it is a good few years old so i'm taking it as it will only work with the normal MS (MG).

Thanks

That's only 10MB/s. Slow!
