Cannot see card reader - Club CDFreaks

Hi all
can some one help me out?
The 6 in 1 card reader I have been using for ages does not show up in MY computer any more when I plug it in.
I have uninstalled it as USB mass storage device via device manager and reinstalled with the relevant drivers etc , but still no go!

. Before all I did was plug it in and it was recognized straight away. works fine when I boot into Vista and all the relevant drive letters are visible in my computer when plugged in.
Any ideas

sometimes simply pluging it into a different USB slot helps

I have tried in al the USB slots front and back to no avail. The same USB slots work fine with Vista

OK did a system restore and all is well now
