| Word lid van Moby's (anti) spam club De zanger Moby was nogal ontzet toen hij er achter kwam dat zijn privé e-mailadres op internet stond. Binnen de kortste keren begon hij veel vriendelijke en minder vriendelijke e-mail te krijgen. De artiest geeft de spammers een koekje van eigen deeg. Iedereen die een mailtje stuurt naar het 'gelekte' e-mailadres van Moby krijgt een mailtje terug. Ook degene die zogeheten 'hate mail' stuurden. Een sympathiek gebaar op het eerste gezicht. Echter, het antwoord is geen persoonlijk berichtje. Omdat de artiest niet gediend was van de overstroming van zijn mailbox wordt iedere e-mailer automatisch lid gemaakt van de fanclub van Moby gemaakt. De bijbehorende boodschap luidt: 'Thanks for your interest in Moby! As a Moby fan you have been automatically registered in the Moby Fan Club! As a member of the Moby Fan Club you will be kept updated with all of the latest news about Moby!' Sommige hate mailers mailden de artiest terug niet gediend te zijn van dergelijke ongewenste post. | Haha geweldig is dit. Volgens mij is die Moby een geweldige vent... hij maakt leuke muziek, heeft een goede live act, komt zeer sportief over en nu weer zo'n actie. Strak strak strak
