DVDFab / DVD Region+CSS Free Discuss, Unable to Copy to DVD -save to HDD only at Copy Movie forum; I overlooked answering your first question, I did purchase from DVD Idle directly and this issue arose after upgrading the earlier version of DVDFab Express which worked flawlessly. I think the problem is with the last upgrade.

Re: Unable to Copy to DVD -save to HDD only

DVDFab Platinum folder should be in the program files and will contain both express and gold in it. There will be 2 icons on desktop 1 for each. I would use explorer to check program files folder and see which Fab product is in there. Then look at your order email from element5 to see amount, if 59.95 it is platinum, if 39.95 will be either express or gold. I would uninstall and reinstall which ever product you originally had and C&P the number after you download and install what you originally purchased. During installation you will see a window stating installing "platin coffin engine" with a bar filling up with blue. I may not have spelled it right but that is the VSO engine.

Mack,
This problem is all over the forum with no fix in sight yet. Fengtao is now referring those with VSO burners to a Ken at VSO. I think Fengtao needs to own up and fix this compatibility issue.
