Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

I"ve just tried to purchase the program and completed all of the form and then clicked on "Finish Order". Have received nothing since! No confirmation, no pop up window showing that the transaction is complete, nothing. I've done this twice - same thing each time.

I don't want to be charged twice for this and am wondering if there is anyone viewing this thread that is able to help me. I've sent 2 emails via the support option - and have not received anything as yet.

Thanks for the help. BTW - the trial program is great - that's why I decided to buy it.

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

t0nee1 - thanks for the reply - but, I've yet to receive an email with the license key. Looking forward to an email from the author of the program. I've been using the trial version of DVDFab Platinum and it is a great program.

Thanks again,
Jim

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

It's possible that the reg key has been sent, but is being blocked. While this occasionally is a user issue (spam filters, etc.), it may be your ISP or email provider. This has been an issue for some users in the past. I know for a fact yahoo and gmail will work. I've used both of these, but primarily use outlook express. My ISP is time warner/road runner...never had a problem.

Has your account been charged?
Fengtao also has sent reg keys via email.
Contact him directly at fengtao(at)dvdidle.com, you need replace (at) with @.

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

t0nee1 and maineman - yes, I downloaded from the official site and my emails are not being blocked - I check my blocker rather frequently. I'll contact fentago at that email address.

Again,
thanks!

How long has it been since you ordered. It usually only takes minutes for confirmation but I have seen it take 24 hours.

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

alan1476 - about 5 hours ago. I've emailed fentago with info about what has happened. I started the purchase on DVDFAB.net and then it went to AVANGATE.com and that is where i clicked on the "Finish Order" button. I'm wondering if this avangate.com is legitimate or not? Does anyone know if this is how an order is supposed to be completed?
Thanks again,
Jim

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

Sorry, I was typing as you were posting.
Never heard of avangate.com ...just googled 'em and it looks like they're resellers of sorts.
Can you halt payment...notify your credit card issuer?

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

maineman - nothing has been charged to my account as yet. It takes about 3 days after a purchase before I see new posting.

Hopefully I'll hear from fentago before the night is over. Leaving for a trip to Alabama in the morning and won't be back until Tuesday. Hopefully I can check this forum during the weekend.

Jim

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

rolling56 - that info makes me feel a lot better. It's beginning to look as though the transaction wasn't completed somehow. I'll wait until I hear from fentago before I try again to purchase. Don't want triple billing for this!!!

And thanks to everyone for your input!

Jim

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

Sorry again...
I was just navigating Fengtao's home site re: the purchase and when I clicked on the
"How to purchase link",
it took me here:
http://www.avangate.com/help/customer-faq.php...???

Now rolling 56 has confirmed.
Thanks rolling...

Purchases from Fengtao have always been made from Element 5 which is part of Digital Rivers...at least last I knew...
now I now better.

Again, sorry for the confusion Jim.

Re: Unable to complete purchase of DVDFAB

Maineman - I also had posted a query to avangate.com - let's see if I hear anything from them. I'm really beginning to believe the transaction did not go through. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
