Split on 2 discs (DvdFab Gold) - Club CDFreaks

I there,

I'm trying to copy a dvd that is on my hard disk, and it as 7.24 Gb.
I tried to split it on 2 discs following the full disk option but i get a message saying that the dvd is a dvd-9 and cannot be splitted on 2 disks.
The full message is " This disc is a DVD9 and cannot be copied by spliting on 2 dvd5. But you can copy it fully to hard disk"
What could be the problem?
All the help is welcome.

i have the same problem, i can't find any answer here at least 10 pages back

Try ripping the one on the HD again to get folders with disc 1 and disc 2.

Dear all,

It's a known problem, that DVDFab Gold cannot split some season disc.

The new DVDFab 3 has an improved splitting engine, which should can handle more discs.

The disc title is:

Sorry, no experience with either series. If burning to a DL is not an option, you may want to give re-authoring a try with shrink...it's pretty damn handy. You can check out a guide right here.

Just navigate down to re-author.

Fengtao keeps exciting me by mentioning Version 3.

You might decrypt the disc to HD as an ISO then try try splitting with ISOBuster, Ultra ISO or Magic ISO.

I am having the same problem. Sin City director's cut discs cant be split. This is the first DVD9 that DVDFab couldnt split. It looks like this problem is spreading beacuse I see others are having the same problem. I joined this forum to find a solution
