Sony Is Laughing At Us.... - Club CDFreaks

Hello everyone!

Although I may be a newbie to this site. I'm NOT a newbie in the dvd duplications. I've actually been doing this for the last month or so. And I find it kind of fun. However, with such titles from the Lionsgate that I had trouble with (The Descent, Crank, Employee Of The Month). I started to investigate why I wasnt sucessful in making a copy. Then came the Sony titles such as Pursuit Of Happyness and Rocky Balboa. I used DVD Shrink and or DVD Decryptor, with no sucess.

So, I began my search through the beloved internet. Going after page after page. I came across a wonderful program called DVDFAB Platinum. I notice that the movies I would normally copy on DVD Shrink or DVD Decryptor, when using the Nero Recode, the movies would come about 60% or so. With DVDFAB, the movies were done at 100%, and I still had more space on a single-layer disc. Therefore I recently tried an oringinal copy of Crank and The Descent on DVDFAB, and it worked. YIPEEE!

However, I recently re-rented Rocky Balboa, to put DVDFAB to the test after reading about Sony's new encryption, ARCcos. DVDFAB was a sucess in overriding the encryption and Nero Recode accepted it.

But here is the problem. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong. When burning the Rocky Balboa movie through Nero Recode, I get to 100% but then the "DVDFAB Content Removed" appears on the little viewing screen of Nero Recode. For about 10 minutes or so, then the software ejects the disc and reports that there was an error on the disc.

I have used AnyDVD (piece of crap), DVD-Shrink/DVD-Decryptor (Cant handle any Sony or Lionsgate titles). Used 1CLICKDVD (it sucked), and other programs that I cannot think of at this very moment.

I've been reading the others posts or (threads) to see if it was me doing something wrong, the disc from it's wear and tear, or whatever.

And one more thing. I was able to override The Last King Of Scotland and Night At The Museum with no problem, through DVD Decryptor. However, that was before I discovered DVDFAB.

Can anyone suggest or help with my issue of Nero Recode, not being able to finalize the disc (Sony titles) ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And yes, I'm sure SONY is laughing at all of us who arent able to make duplications of their high-profiled movies. In addition, with Spider Man 3 currently in theatres, SONY I'm sure, will use this type of encryption on this film.

Use Platinum's Customize mode and select the "No Menus" button to make backup copies without any "DVDFab content".
