Using the DVDFab platinum 4.1.2.0 software and Verbatim +R DL. I have only managed to burn one Dual Layer disk. All the rest have failed except for one that said "created successfully" but would not play either on the 820A or on a DVD player (said "incorrect disk"). I slowed the burning rate down to 2.4X (what it says on the media) but still no luck. Went to Sony to see about firmware update 1.0c (I have 1.0b) but the 820A is not listed for some reason. I can't find the 1.0c firmware anywhere. I read that this drive has a tendency to overheat. Here is the vso log and event log of my last failed attempt.

Has anyone else had this problem with the 820A or know of a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This drive has no problem at all writing single layer disks. Thanks in advance.
