Re: slow reading

Slow running is usually caused by framented HD, registry having unneeded entries left by other programs, amouny of usable memory, or other programs.

Re: slow reading

Hi francine, I remember you from the old forum, glad to hear you're still having some fun, burning in your retirement.

Couple things:
1. Please don't double post, not only will the mods get after you, it's confusing and difficult for members to offer help with multiple threads on the same topic.

2. Mack's advice is right on the mark. We can give you only general advice.
If you can give some specifics, we'll be glad to try to help.

Tom

Re: slow reading

When was the last time you cleaned out your temporary internet files and defragged your HD? This should be done at least monthly. Also, is your firmware updated?

Double Posting !

@ FAKINS,

Suggest viewing your CD Freaks Copy DVD Movie Forum posting titled “Reading And Burning Is Getting Slower” for my very detail response to your inquiry (http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.ph...4&postcount=3).

Suggest viewing the CD Freaks Forum Rules (http://club.cdfreaks.com/announceme...nouncementid=37) and note the comments concerning Double Posting. You have Double Posted in both the CD Freaks Copy DVD Movie Forum and also in CD Freaks DVDFab/DVD Region+CSS Free Forum. Double posting is against Forum Rules, doesn’t get your inquiry answered any quicker, causes confusion and is discourteous to Forum Members who respond to your posting.

Best Regards,
bjkg

@bjkg

Amen
I think that too many ignore the Club CD Freaks - Knowledge is Power page, the search button, Google, & other search engines.
