Setting Help needed - Club CDFreaks

I am fairly new to DVD fab, and am using the Free version... just wondering if there is some sort of guide to the common setting, or should I just leave everything to default. Some setting are self explanitory, but I am not sure what to do with many other... any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance

Hello Dragon55, I don't use the free ver. but I'll give you my common settings and see if they help ok. Go to the read section in common settings. I have mine set as follows:
I/O Mode: SPTI
Put a check in the Ask retry/ignore/abort when reading error
Retry: 10 times
Skip sectors after a error reading: 32 times
Check Enable read ahead cache
Click on Protections and make sure they are all checked
If you have Pathplayer, I have mine set on Enable when nessary

Mike's suggestions are all good and should work well. I think the only difference with my settings is that I do not enable the Read Ahead Cache. Don't be afraid to experiment. (The defaults generally produce good results for most users).
