DVDFab / DVD Region+CSS Free Discuss, Running DVDFab on a Virtual PC? at Copy Movie forum; Has anyone had luck running DVDFab on a Virtual PC? I can run the app, but it does not detect the DVD when I insert it. The DVD drive is mounted and I can browse it using Explorer, it just wont detect with DVDFab.

Running DVDFab on a Virtual PC?

Has anyone had luck running DVDFab on a Virtual PC? I can run the app, but it does not detect the DVD when I insert it. The DVD drive is mounted and I can browse it using Explorer, it just wont detect with DVDFab.

Does your virtual machine use ASPI or SPTI for I/O on the optical drives? Try taking DVDFab out of Auto I/O control in Common Settings-->Read and select whichever one you have available.
