I recently purchased the program which I think is great! Have had no problems at all, But since I purchased the registration key and had it sent to me it says double click on the key to activate, I do this and I can only hi lite a portion of the key, and it still asks me for the registration key, I have also tried copy and paste and it doesn't work either. Please help or send new key.

What program is it that you are having this problem?

If you need the proper answer you have to clearly say what program are talking about and how you tried to install the registration key.

DVD Fab Gold Ver 3.0.1.3, the instructions say To activate the registration key, double-click it. The demo version of the
product you have purchased must be installed for this to work. When you
restart your product it will be unlocked and registered to you. I have tried this and it doesn't work, the registration key is too big, I have also tried copy and paste. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Send your problem to fengtao@DVDidle.com make sure to include you e-mail address with it. It must be the e-mail address that you bought the program with.

To C&P you need to let the cursor scroll to the end when it comes to the end, not highlight what shows on the screen. Then right click and choose copy, then with fab open in registration box, place cursor inside right click choose paste. I like to open Fab first then minimize it, copy key, maximize Fab, then click in the registration box.

I have the same problem. I had been sending emails to fengtao asking for the new
key for version 3 but did not get any answers from them. i even send a PM to them and still waiting.

I have tried all of the suggestions, I have tried to retrieve the key by sending my emaill address but it comes back and says email not found in database, I guess they haven't updated the database yet, will keep trying.BTW thanks to all any more suggestions?

I have also noticed that when starting the program it says Note:The registration is up graded in version 3 and I have registered the product.

When & Where did you Purchase. Which pay processor was used?

When = date purchased
where = Website where the product was purchased
Pay Processor = the company that handled the transaction and sent you the receipt.

The double click is for the attached file Key.DVDFabPlatinum that should have come with your registration email.
The attached file when double clicked will run a tiny edit to your registry applying the key.
If you don't have the file, like maybe your email stripped it or hid it.
Then just highlight the Key text and copy and insert/paste it when the program asks for it.
Copy it all, just as the email states. All that is between the ***** lines.
Read your email, it should be clear. (copied below what yours should read like.

You were not specific about which program, though they all work the same way.
And I assume you have your original email which also.
By import they mean copy it somewhere like your desktop and double click it.

I donot have DVD Platinum, I have DVD Gold 3.0.1.3, I would prefer a new key but sent not as an attachment

If you have the key, you will need to use it as there are site problems at this time. You can download DVDFab Gold 3.0.2.0 at

www.dvdfab.net

It is simple to copy and paste, if there is an attachment it will open in notepad which is built into Windows.

Hopefully fengtao will get the site problems resolved soon.

So! you are saying uninstall ver 3.0.1.3 and then download and install ver 3.0.2.0 then try the copy and pasting the key because it doesn't work with the older version. Is that right?

newbie57, make sure you download the right version. Mack link goes to www.dvdfab.com and those ver doesn't remove CSS-protection. The right site is

OK I have downloaded and installed DVD fab Gold 3.0.2.0 and my key does not work and I still can't retrieve a new key because my email address has not been updated and my credit card has allready been charged, so what happens now??????

I am so messed up with all these DVD region free DVD fab gold, Looks like I have got the key to DVD region free and not DVD fab gold which I thought I was getting, What does DVD region free do any way? DVD FAB Gold is the program I want with the Key!

DVD region plus CSS free is decrypting part of Gold and Platinum, but can be purchased separately to run like AnyDVD. Read fengato's latest post as there are key & purchase problems but limited support at this time.
