Recoded movies skip

Hi guys, this is probably my first post. I've got a bit of a serious problem with DVD Fab. When I recode movies for PSP, the results are pretty poor. About 30 secs into playing, the movie skips and the audio becomes out of sync with the video. I also noticed last night when creating a movie from DVD9 to DVD5 using compression, that the movie stuttered and skipped an awful lot. I can't ever remember the programme doing this before, it always ran faultlessly. Anyone any suggestions?

I had problems like that in the passed. And what I found out you are better off not to do anything on the computer while copying. (mainly while writing) Also check to see that your virus scanner isn't scanning or any other program scanning for what ever.

Re: Recoded movies skip

Thanks for getting back guys. I don't think it's a media related problem as the recoding skips and jumps before getting burned. I think the programme is being interfered with by another programme. Can't think what though, doesn't look like my virus scanner either.

Re: Recoded movies skip

Hi Python15,
Just so we understand...
The problem is not confined to DVD to Mobile, but occurs in DVD to DVD as well?

You're saying that you experience stuttering when viewed off the hdd with both DVD to Mobile and with DVD to DVD modes?

How about the av sync problem...just seen when encoding for PSP?

Anything change in your profile settings for PSP?, for DVD to DVD?

So, at what point did this problem arise...new version update, etc.,...?
Yeah, this sounds like a conflict since it's pervasive throughout and seen virtually everywhere.
Not sure what version you're running, your OS, and lots of other details, but have you considered doing a complete uninstall and fresh new install?
Recommend you follow my good friend StormJumper's uninstall guides
Just click on his user name...

Good luck and let us know...
