Ratatouille - audio sync issue

Tyring to get my ratatouille dvd to my ipod using the DVD to Mobile Ipod setting but having audio sync problems, about a second off. I am using DVDfab Platinum 4.0.3.2 to get it to a ipod.mpeg4 format.

I tried both audio ac-3/5.1 and ac-3/2 and the audio is still off by about a second. I have tried fast encoding and high quality (2-pass).

the frame res is at 640x352. The bitrate is 768.

I have tested the short bonus movies and the audio is also off by about a second throughout those.

Any thoughts or work arounds? Should I change the bit rate on the audio? It is currently at 64.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Ratatouille - audio sync issue

Just tried Narnia and the same results. Terrible audio sync problem. About a second delay with video lagging behind the audio.

The first two lord of the rings synced perfectly. No problem. Has anyone else had this problem? I would appreciate any suggestions. I am region 1.

I did use xilisoft dvd to ipod on Narnia and the audio synced fine but the video quality was not that great so I would really like to use DVDfab.

Re: Ratatouille - audio sync issue

Hi, I have the same (?) audio sync problem on "Extras season 1 and 2". Picture is about a second behind the audio on DVD to Ipod (also tried the Generic but with the same result). I'm recoding it now with the new Beta version but since no information about an update in the sync functions I suppose this will not help. Apart from this I really like DVD Fab. I've tried ripping with some other software without sync problem.

Re: Ratatouille - audio sync issue

Hello,
I do have the same problem with ratatouille also with DVDFAB 4.0.6.5. The video is 1 sec behind the audio. Is it possible, that this error will be caused of the intel-core-2. On this Dvd there are two mainmovies because of the Titlesreen. The first in english, second in german.
