| PS3 and DVDFab Platinum Editio Hi, I have two questions if any one can help me! 1. I just purchased the PS3 40 gig and I want to use it for movies. My tv is a 1080p tv. How do I set u the PS3 to put out 1080p image and how do I set up the sound? 2. If I buy video games for the PS3 can I use DVDFab to make a copy of the video game and have full functionality? | Re: PS3 and DVDFab Platinum Editio 1. Your HDTV is 1080p, you would want to connect your PS3 to the tv with HDMI cable. To setup the sound, well, do you have an AV Receiver? does it have HDMI inputs? 2. There's no hack for PS3 games (yet). |

| Re: PS3 and DVDFab Platinum Editio I was wandering on specific settings within the PS3 for movies and surround sound from movies. I have a Yamaha 1500 series no HDMI input or output from receiver. I can hook up the PS3 via optical to the receiver. |

(I hope you've setup the built in wireless connection) Still under Settings, set BD/DVD settings as follow: BD/DVD Audio Output Format (HDMI) = Bitstream BD Audio Output Format (Optical Digital) = Bitstream This will ensure that the PS3 bitstream high definition audio (especially DTS-HD Master Audio) to your Yamaha RX-V1500 as DTS core multichannel. | |
