Program crashes while copying to hard drive While trying to copy "In Her Shoes" a 20th century Fox movie using fab and express ver 2 9 7 0 in main movie mode the both programs crash about half way through and I must reboot my computer. All other movies copy and burn with no problems. This is the first time that has ever happened to me in a couple of years of using fab products.Could this be another form of a copy guard.

Re: Program crashes while copying to hard drive Just bkup'd In Her Shoes...express - main movie - v. 2.9.7.0...no problems, great copy as always in this mode. If you could give us some specifics re: your crash, as dmp31 suggested, we'll be glad to try to help you out.

Re: Program crashes while copying to hard drive What happened was as the data was being copied to the hard drive it stopped about half way and I was unable to shut the program down. I tried this disk using the previous version of fab and express in the main movie mode with the same results there never was any error message displayed. I have tried several other movies today with flawless burns. I must say that when played the original "In Her Shoes" there was a couple of big jumps midway in the movie so Im wondering if this just was a damaged disk although it looked good (no scratches).I will be very happy if this was just an isolated case because everything else seems to burn fine.

Re: Program crashes while copying to hard drive Yeah, I think you're right re: the original disc...damaged in some fashion or perhaps a bad press. I'd exchange it for a new one. Strange that it caused a crash, but sometimes this stuff is just a mystery.
