Does the original have "translation subtitles" when you watch it in your player?

Sorry I think that I misunderstood you. Yes, when I watch the dvd using windows media player, there are subtitles translating the foreign conversations and none for the english ones. That's pretty much how I want it. Any help is appreciated!

If you are trying to do a DVD to Mobile conversion for your 605, select the english subtitles and put a checkmark in the box that says "Display Only Forced Subpicture " (it's on the first screen, before you click Next).

How do I put a checkmark on that. There is no box next to that option just a dropdown list with only direct render to video in it. Am I missing something?

Sorry to hear that. If there is another set of english subtitles, select it and check the box again. You can only select ONE subpicture checkbox for "Direct Render to Video" to work (this option is set on the Configure page). If it takes some experimenting, try using the Advanced Title Setting
button to convert only one or two chapters for quicker testing.
