| Problems opening a non-commercial DVD Been having a lot of problems trying to open a DVD a friend sent me with video on it. It opens fine in my DVD player and I'm able to watch the DVD with no problems. However when I try to open the DVD in DVDFab the program crashes out during analysis. The error information is as follows: Fault Module Name: DVDFabPlatinum.exe Fault Module Version: 3.2.1.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 470e17d7 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 000d43d6 OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: d275 Additional Information 2: e63307f82bb6561a6941252c930f9170 Additional Information 3: 430b Additional Information 4: 415b2cb4b91cd6ff86390cface1805dc I'm using the latest version of DVDFab. As per Stormjumper's posts on how to un/install DVDFab, this is a clean install. I'm fairly new to DVDFab and don't really know what the error report is telling me and so I was hoping that someone with more experience can tell me what the problem might be. Thanks. |

| Re: Problems opening a non-commercial DVD You should be able to copy the files to your hard drive using windows (since it is not CSS). Do this and then try and open the hard drive folder with DVDFab. Also, disable to auto preview in the common settings. I have had Fab crash on me reading non-standard DVDs when the previem starts up. |
