I did like you suggested and sent fengtao my email address, proof of purchase for dvdfab platinum.
I also sent 2 unlock keys that I got from dvdfab uk and I asked again for a key for dvdfab ver3
I have heard nothing from them.
Do you think I should give up? or break their hearts with hundreds of emails

Fengtao has been away for 2 days on urgent business, I am sure he wil get back to you. If you bought them from DVDFab Uk I cannot tell you that the key will be honored, they are a different company selling the products ( not anymore), You can try though.

i think it should not matter when I bought dvdfab. The fact is I bought and paid for dvdfab. I bought dvdfab in dec 2005 if Fengtao was having problems in the UK he had nearly a year to sort it and inform his customers before I bought dvdfab

I obtained my version of the dvdfab through the uk site before Jan '05 and I have retreived the gold key and upgraded to platinum although i have not tested throughly I believe its the real thing.

At one time DVDFab UK was a legal affiliate, but kept on selling anyway generating illegal keys. This was easy to do because of fengtao's liberal 30 day trial, buy a few keys then share them. DVDFab UK is the one who owes you a refund. There are others doing same, so people have to be cautious especially those sites claiming to have a crack program. Just opening some will load your computer with all kinds of viruses, adware, spyware, Trojans, and other malware.

I'm also waiting for a replacement key. I purchased from element 5 in September of 2005. I filled out the online form a couple days back requesting a key & haven't heard back so far.
