This dvd won't copy properly. It stops quarter of the way in and then it asks to enable pathplayer. When enabled it starts fine but then stops again. Please fix this problem.

The official U.S. release date is June 10th so it may be difficult do to the fact that not many people have access to early releases.

Please disregard what I said about the movie not copying properly. I realized that the movie was defective. I tried to make a copy before actually watching it. I returned it and it seems that all the copies are defective. Again, please diregard by initial post.

I made a backup copy using 5.0.2.8 with no problems

Backed it up the other day with 5.0.2.8 withno problems. Region 1 widescreen.

Like I said in my previous post. I realized that the disc was defective. Thank you all for your help though. It wasn't the movie that was causing the problem it was the DVD itself. So disregard my need for help. I dont' need it. Thanks again for your help.

Same thing is happening to me cannot copy or watch my disc will return it tomorrow and get a new one.Mine is region 1

there are a lot of defective dvd`s for this movie so try watching the original before you back up.

maybe sony should use verbatim disc like i do and they wouldnt have this problem.Will get a new disc tomorrow and let you know how i made out

mine works just fine.

however i did have a slight problem with witless protection.

if i put the disc in before i open dvdfab, the drive does not read it. i left the disc in for 3 min before ejecting.

opened dvdfab and inserted the disc and it backed up no problem.

Sony doesn't make their own disc, they just farm it out to the cheapest manufacture

A lot of label names do that now. That's why some media can be so dodgy, at best.
