My children really abuse our movies. I have DVD Fab Gold. We have a new Disney movie that I think I should back up but it is NTSC and won't work. Anyone know why?

More Information needed, such as name of DVD, Region, burner, media used, any error codes, stand alone player, etc

Mulan, Region 1, NTSC.

Burner NEC ND3550 / 16x8x16x DVD+RW / 16x6x16x DVD-RW / 8x DVD+R DL / 6x DVD-R DL / 48x32x48x CD-RW / Silver / Dual Layer / DVD Burner with Software.

I didn't get to the media, I was trying to copy the movie to my harddrive. This happens on all NTSC movies I have tried to backup. They run for a while, then stall, then timeout. Same thing when I use DVD Shrink. I don't remember the error codes, I'd have to try again to see. With DVD Shrink, I usually get a Program Not Responding when I try to close it after it crashes. I think DVD Fab Gold does the same thing.

Have you tried the latest release that came out today? DVD Shrink does not need to run when using DVDFab Gold.
