night at the museum menu problem

I created a backup of my whole movie using DVDFab...worked like a charm. Burned entire disc (minus foreign language/ subtext). Seemed like it worked fine but, it will not access the title or dvd menu. When the dvd starts, it goes into a montage of sony movies and then the movie starts. But trying to access the menu locks up the player. This has happened twice. Any ideas?

Re: night at the museum menu problem

Hello dEMIGOD68 and welcome to the forum. I just went and had a look at my back up of Museum. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, American Idol's been on the last 2 nights....It to started out with a list of movie's like you said. Then to proceeded to a unusual menue. After experimenting, it was just that I didn't understand what was going on. But it was just different wording for it. Then I started it and played the movie a little then stopped it and went back to menue and was fine. That was burned using full movie mode. Now, like signals asked , what mode did you use? There's been a rash of issue's using the main movie mode on these newer movie's. ~ Mike

Re: night at the museum menu problem

I was in Full Disc mode
I burned to a DVD+R DL

When I open the IFO using Nero Showtime, it will run through the Fox dvd previews na dwill then go into the Menu. Once it is on DVD, it plays the previews and then stops. If I press play, the movie will play. But, I cannot at any time access menus.

Re: night at the museum menu problem

Just curious, what kind of media did you use? And did you let the opening montage run til it was over and came to the main menue? Did it freeze up when you clicked play movie? ~ Mike

I am using Memorex DVD+R DL. It only freezes when I try to access title or dvd menus.

Re: night at the museum menu problem

Hi dEMIGOD68,

How did you minus foreign language/ subtext in "Full Disc" mode?

If you use double layer media, you should use "Clone" to mak perfect copies.

Best Regards,
Fengtao
