| newer versions of dvdfab platinum work but won't play in my samsung dvd player Dvdfab platinum version 3.1.0.8 copies and plays fine in my samsung dvd player, but all newer versions copy fine but won't play in my samsung dvd player. I tried a clean install and version 3.1.4.0 and 3.1.5.0 but had to go back to 3.1.0.8 because that is the only version that will copy and play the discs. I am using taiyo yuden 16x dvd-r discs. I have a HD-DT-ST DVD+-RW GWA4164B WITH E113 firmware on a dell xps 600 system. I was told tht the taiyo yuden discs were the best. Is that true? Any other ideas would be great help. |

when you say "burn software" you you mean the pcouffin VSO driver stuff which DVDFAB installs when it is 1st installed, or another piece of software ? | |

| Re: newer versions of dvdfab platinum work but won't play in my samsung dvd player Maybe try some Verbatim or TY Dvd+R media, setting the booktype for Dvd+R to Dvd-Rom if your drive supports it.
