Re: NEED HELP WITH King Kong

Under express options, check the "size" setting , should be no larger than 4300 for SL blank media burns. Also, unless you are writing Dual Layer, make sure the "enable dual layer" checkbox is not checked. Until you have failed burn issue corrected, pick up a quality pack of RW's to save coasters!

The above might have been a typo, but that is "4200", not "42000"....Not sure what the "????" are after the double layer, but all of these settings are in the settings section. If indeed you do have it set a 4200 and double layer is not checked (assume you are trying SL rip/burn), and sure your blank media is of good quality/no defects on that disc, then not sure what is going on...FYI, poster Maineman long time ago pointed me to Taiyo Yuden media, and have NEVER had a media issue with these! Good luck.

DVD:16 Writing Failed (write error or process aborted). Are you copying main movie or complete disc?

Right...

@FASIENE, if you navigate to the folder after the rip, what is the file size?
UMKANE raises a good point here. I seem to recall some folks having difficulty with the target size and actual ripped file size on some of these recent releases...probably related to copy protection - disc structure issues. Larry's suggestions were right on the mark for starters, but since you're still having issues, I'd re-configure the target size as suggested by UMKANE.

@UMKANE, I'm surprised you didn't run into a problem with such a large target size...did you change anything to overburn, or simply change the target size?
